Positive Parenting Pledge 2008

I pledge:

	To provide a healthy, safe, and nurturing environment for my child.
	To make time to talk with my child and reinforce that I care about him and am interested in his ideas and experiences.
	To use positive statements and praise my child's behavior.
	To use positive methods of problem solving, realizing the violence at any level is not an acceptable form of dealing with problems and issues.
	To show my love for my child with daily hugs and affection.
