Public Education Outreach - RACCAP's mission is to educate the public about positive parenting and child abuse prevention. RACCAP is committed to raising the awareness of the general public about these issues. RACCAP participates in several coalitions, as described below, to accomplish our mission of public education and awareness.
There is also a display of parenting materials which includes numerous pamphlets (click to see this listing) that are available to individuals at no cost. RACCAP will provide a speaker to make presentations on various parenting topics. (click to see the presentation topics listing) Please call the RACCAP office at (540)785-6217 to make arrangements for a speaker or display at your next event.
RACCAP is the coordinating agency for the Rappahannock

Planning District 16's Prevention Planning Partnership (PPP) is made up of over 25 agencies in the Greater Fredericksburg Area. It was developed to form a working group to provide guidance and direction to community agencies and faith based groups providing prevention programs and strategies to families in Planning District #16.
The PPP promotes the use of proven research-based programs and strategies, community collaborations, and long range planning based upon the assessment of local risk and protective factors. Click here for a copy of the PPP Prevention Plan. |
